Senior Quality Engineer
WorkWave LLC seeks a Senior Quality Engineer in our Holmdel, NJ location.
WHAT YOU'LL DO:
- Devise software test plans that organize test cases for test coverage for high-quality software applications.
- Develop and maintain commercial and open source test automation frameworks for Web and Mobile application testing.
- Create and maintain automated tests scripts for User Interface (UI) functional workflows.
- Review automated test failures and make automation framework improvements.
- Log application defects, support debug efforts, and retest defect corrective actions.
- Perform system-level regression testing to identify defects and report on testing results.
- Create and maintain automated tests scripts REST API services.
- Analyze technical requirements and create written test cases.
- Develop Web & API performance/scalability tests based on product needs.
- Integrate test automation into CI/CD pipelines.
- Prepare quality reports and system documentation.
WHAT YOU'LL NEED:
- Two (2) years of experience must include:
- Developing programmatic or automated solutions for User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
- Building test frameworks based on Selenium and Appium
- Object-oriented programming in C# or Java; HTML; CSS; JavaScript; JSON; XML; AJAX
- Creating and maintaining API (REST) and UI (Selenium) test automation scripts
- Creating and maintaining JMETER performance and scalability tests
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field plus eight (8) years of experience in the offered position or a related occupation. Employer will accept a master’s degree plus four (4) years of experience in lieu of a bachelor’s degree plus eight years of experience.
