Senior Quality Engineer

TLDR

Lead end-to-end testing in an AI-powered SaaS platform, driving automation, shift-left quality, and reliability across distributed systems.

Accountabilities:
  • Define, own, and execute comprehensive test strategies covering functional, integration, performance, exploratory, and system-level testing
  • Develop and maintain advanced automated test frameworks and scripts using tools such as Python, Pytest, TypeScript, and related technologies
  • Promote “shift-left” testing by enabling developers to run and validate tests early in the development lifecycle
  • Participate in incident analysis and post-incident reviews, driving root cause identification and preventive quality improvements
  • Lead end-to-end testing for epics and major initiatives, including readiness reviews and acceptance validation
  • Debug complex issues across staging and production environments, contributing to root cause analysis and resolution
  • Collaborate with engineering, architecture, and platform teams to improve test coverage, system reliability, and release quality
  • Mentor junior and mid-level quality engineers and contribute to hiring and technical evaluation processes
  • Requirements:

    • 6–8 years of experience in quality engineering, test automation, and Agile software development environments
    • Strong programming skills in Python and experience with frameworks such as Pytest, Playwright, TypeScript, or JavaScript
    • Solid understanding of test automation design, scalable frameworks, and maintainable testing strategies
    • Deep knowledge of QA methodologies including functional, integration, performance, security, and exploratory testing
    • Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines, deployment workflows, and debugging tools
    • Proven ability to design testing strategies aligned with modern microservices or cloud-based architectures
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage risk and prioritize testing efforts effectively
    • Experience fostering quality ownership within development teams and enabling self-service testing practices
    • Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate across distributed global teams
    • Experience with test strategy layering across unit, functional, and acceptance testing is highly desirable
