Role Overview

We're looking for a Senior React / Frontend Lead to own the component architecture for a large-scale website build (200+ pages) powered by Storyblok headless CMS. You'll be the person who sets the standard for design system consistency across the entire site, working from completed Figma designs alongside a backend Node.js developer.

Responsibilities

• Own and drive component architecture decisions across a 200+ page website build

• Enforce design system consistency across all pages and components

• Translate Figma designs into pixel-perfect, production-ready React components

• Build and maintain a reusable, scalable component library

• Implement and configure Storyblok as the headless CMS layer

• Apply Next.js rendering strategies (SSR/SSG/ISR) appropriately across different page types

• Collaborate closely with a backend Node.js developer to ensure smooth integration

Requirements

Required Skills

• 4+ years of hands-on React experience

• Hands-on experience specifically with Storyblok (not just any headless CMS)

• Strong Figma-to-code track record with a focus on pixel-perfect implementation

• Experience with Next.js, including SSR, SSG, and ISR rendering patterns

• Demonstrated ability to build and enforce a reusable component library

• Comfortable collaborating closely with backend engineers in a small, fast-moving team

Preferred Skills

• Experience with content-heavy websites

• Tailwind CSS

• Experience configuring the Storyblok Visual Editor

Engagement Details

• Engagement Type: Contract, project-based, with possibility of extension

• Estimated Duration: Approximately 3 months, depending on ramp-up

• Timezone Expectation: Central Europe working hours
