Senior Revenue Accountant

We are looking for a Senior Revenue Accountant, reporting to the Revenue Manager, who enjoys analyzing data and has a solid understanding of revenue accounting guidance.

SPECIFIC DUTIES

• Prepare accounting journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations and flux analysis at month-end close for revenue-related accounts.
• Create, generate and analyze revenue reports
• Identify and document revenue considerations
• Assist with revenue checklists and technical accounting memos
• Collaborate with other cross-functional teams to coordinate, complete and resolve accounting matters
• Support revenue operations (Provisioning, Billing, Credit & Collections) as needed
• Assist with the periodic analysis of stand-alone selling prices of the Company’s products and services
• Assist with preparation of annual audit/quarterly review schedules
• Prepare revenue reports for month-end close and assist with ad hoc requests from FP&A, SEC Reporting, Investor Relations
• Perform ad-hoc projects as assigned

JOB QUALIFICATIONS 

Education
BA degree in Accounting
CPA certification a strong plus

Experience
3+ years relevant work experience supporting revenue operations for a technology company

Previous experience working for a SaaS company is a huge plus
Public company experience a plus
SalesForce, Zuora and NetSuite (working knowledge of ARM) experience a plus

• Working knowledge of revenue accounting guidance (ASC 606)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication (written and verbal) skills and attention to detail

• Multi-tasking and time management skills, upbeat demeanor, and ability to stay organized in a fast-paced environment and work with a sense of urgency
• High proficiency in advanced MS Excel including Pivot Tables and V-Lookups
• Team-oriented approach – can participate as an effective team member as well as work cross-functionally with other organizations
