About the Role
As Sr Sales Systems Manager, you will help drive success of the Sales team by enabling powerful systems and tooling support for their business processes. You will be a strategic partner to stakeholder teams, translating their business needs into technical requirements and executing on these requirements. This is a critical role for Mixpanel at this stage of our growth, with direct impact on the ability to meet our revenue goals.
Responsibilities
- Manage cross-functional systems projects in support of Sales and other teams
- Manage and prioritize salesforce related requests and projects (including CPQ, integrating 3rd party applications, AppExchange products, etc) by collaborating with product team
- Help translate business requirements into a technical specification
- Be able to independently execute as well as lead the execution of projects by working closely with admins and engineers
- Project manage solutions end to end
- Provide ongoing support and management of Salesforce and connected systems
- Function as go-to person for salesforce related requests; Coordinate salesforce updates, modify fields and workflows etc as needed
- Manage purchase, renewal of systems and tools, including evaluation and comparison of tools
- Support day-to-day management of Salesforce configuration – customizing core architecture as well as profiles and user permissions
- Manage territory automation
- Partner with the enablement team and sales managers to help drive training on salesforce processes
- Manage CPQ implementation
- Drive data quality and enrichment projects across the organization
- Own the integrity of data at all stages in salesforce and connected systems
- Manage enrichment vendors, optimizing for data integrity and accuracy
- Work with internal teams to establish processes which improve data integrity of all objects; define best practices to help build increased seller productivity and SFDC hygiene
- Regularly run de-duplication programs to de-dupe Accounts, Leads and Contacts
- In conjunction with CPQ, establish systems to verify contract data
We're Looking For Someone Who Has
- Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 5 years of experience working at a technology company in a Systems Manager or a Business Systems Analyst role
- Salesforce certified or trained
- Proficient with Excel, SQL
- 2 years of CPQ experience
- Should be a creative, self-starting, fast learning, detail-oriented team player who thrives with multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with data cleanse & data enrichment projects
- Experience with territory management
Bonus Points For
- Experience working in start-up SaaS and rapidly expanding sales organization strongly preferred
- Proficient with databases, analytical tools and Excel functionality
- Experience with Marketo, lead routing, territory management and tools
