Senior Salesforce Developer

We are currently seeking a new Senior Salesforce Developer to join our GTM Applications, Salesforce Team in Calgary, Toronto or Burnaby. This role is also available to candidates across Canada, excluding Quebec, and the U.S.
What your team does:
Clio’s Salesforce instance has been around for more than 10 years and is widely used throughout the company. There is critical reporting that comes from SFDC and we are looking for an individual who knows how to take the organization’s best interests in mind while composing and deploying any code. We are looking for an individual that will strive to provide recommendations on how we can improve and enhance the Salesforce platform for our organization.

An ideal candidate will have strong soft skills and the ability to meet directly with the business to gather and document those requirements. An individual who shows the desire to own all Salesforce Development requests, collaborate on stakeholder requirements, validate the proposals, and deliver the solutions with our Developers and Administrators, would be one of our top candidates.
This role comes with the potential to grow and manage your own team of developers over time.
What you’ll work on:
- Develop a deep knowledge of existing business processes and partner with those key stakeholders on providing solutions that will allow them to scale utilizing technology.
- Establish rapport, credibility, trust, and respect throughout the organization at all levels, and be viewed as a team player with exceptional communication, analytical, and leadership skills.
- Support the Director, GTM Applications of improving the existing tech stack, reduce technical debt, and identify gaps within current architecture to provide a vision for a scalable and longer term ecosystems roadmap.
- Develop a collaborative organization and culture highly focused on providing efficient and timely solutions to key business challenges.
- Work with team leads to develop requirement work plans, identify task dependencies, develop estimates, and determine resource skill requirements in order to manage technical risk
- Collaborating with the Salesforce Administrator to validate business requirements and any considerations (security, scalability, limits).
- Develop Apex (classes and triggers), Visualforce*, (based on specific requirements) to extend Salesforce in order to support business requirements.
- Custom User Interface development, including Visualforce* pages/Lightning pages, Aura Components** and Lightning Web Components.
- Integrations: Use Salesforce APIs to integrate with other systems used in the organization
- Best Practices: Adhere to Salesforce best practices, maintain code documentation, and write / maintain test classes for all custom development.
- Take ownership of release cycles to implement and deploy new/updates to existing applications and code.

- Ability to write, interpret, and critique technical specifications
- A proactive attitude to Salesforce enhancements and bringing existing code into best practices

- Salesforce Administrator Certification
- Salesforce Developer I Certification

Development Skills:
- Apex, LWC, Visualforce, and Java
- Proficient with Microsoft Visual Studio, Salesforce Lightning Design System and the Salesforce development lifecycle.
Serious bonus points if you have:
- Developer II, JavaScript Developer, Platform App Builder Certifications
- Salesforce CPQ (Configure, Price, Quote) Experience
- iPaaS Solution Experience (Boomi, Workato, Mulesoft, etc)
- Managerial experience, specifically managing in a remote role
