Senior SAP BTP & Cloud DevOps Engineer

Lead the end-to-end design, implementation, and operations of SAP BTP and cloud-based DevOps solutions, ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture and business goals. Responsibilities include:

• Designing, developing, and implementing SAP BTP solutions including CAP (Node.js) applications and HANA database operations
• Owning full lifecycle delivery of technical initiatives including planning, execution, monitoring, reporting, and closure
• Managing CI/CD pipelines and DevOps workflows using tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, and Piper libraries
• Driving cloud infrastructure operations across Kubernetes, Docker, OpenShift, and SAP cloud environments
• Leading automation initiatives to improve deployment efficiency, system reliability, and operational excellence
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams including architects, developers, QA, and product managers
• Ensuring strong governance across security, compliance, release management, and open-source practices
• Monitoring and improving DevOps performance metrics such as DORA indicators and deployment KPIs
• Creating and maintaining technical documentation, operational guides, and best practice frameworks

Requirements:

The ideal candidate brings strong SAP BTP expertise combined with deep DevOps, cloud, and automation experience in enterprise environments.

• 5–8 years of experience in SAP BTP, cloud DevOps, or enterprise cloud engineering roles
• Strong hands-on experience with SAP CAP (Node.js), SAP HANA, and SAP Cloud Foundry
• Solid understanding of SAP BTP ecosystem tools such as Gardener, Converged Cloud, and Hyperspace
• Expertise in CI/CD pipeline design using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, and automation frameworks
• Strong knowledge of Kubernetes, Docker, OpenShift, and Linux-based cloud operations
• Proficiency in scripting and programming languages such as Node.js, Python, Java, Groovy, and Shell
• Experience implementing DevOps best practices, DORA metrics, and release governance models
• Familiarity with AI-powered development tools, AI agents, and automation platforms (preferred)
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and cross-functional collaboration skills
• Ability to independently manage multiple priorities in fast-paced enterprise environments
