This role is ideal for a creative writer who can create and pitch engaging blog posts, while turning dry statistics into engaging text, while meeting tight deadlines. They should understand what makes content share-worthy and be able to suggest fresh approaches to familiar topics. They should also have some SEO knowledge, especially around topic relevancy and backlinks.

The SEO Senior Writer is a highly skilled and experienced writer responsible for creating high-quality, SEO-optimized content that drives organic traffic, improves search engine rankings, and supports business goals. This role requires a deep understanding of SEO principles, content marketing best practices, and the ability to produce compelling and informative content that resonates with target audiences.

Key Responsibilities:

Content Creation & Optimization:

· Write, edit, and proofread high-quality, SEO-optimized content across various formats (articles, blog posts, website copy, landing pages).

· Conduct thorough keyword research and incorporate relevant keywords naturally throughout the content.

· Optimize content for on-page SEO factors (title tags, meta descriptions, image optimization, internal/external linking).

· Ensure content adheres to brand style guidelines and maintains a consistent voice and tone.

Content Analysis & Reporting:

· Liaise with SEO Content Manager on content performance and optimization opportunities

· Identify areas for improvement and make data-driven recommendations to optimize content performance.

Industry Research & Trend Analysis:

· Stay updated on the latest industry, vertical, and SEO trends, algorithm updates, and industry best practices.

· Conduct competitive analysis to identify opportunities for improvement.

SEO Performance:

· Improvement in keyword rankings for target keywords

· Increase in organic traffic to produced pages

· Decrease in bounce rate and increase in time on page

Project Management:

· Able to write and deliver up to content to match tight deadlines. 

· Meeting deadlines consistently

· Effective collaboration with cross-functional teams

· Proactive identification and resolution of potential bottlenecks

Skills & Experience:

· 3+ years of experience in SEO content writing and iGaming content creation

· Proven ability to write high-quality, engaging, and SEO-optimized content

· Strong understanding of SEO principles, including on-page and off-page optimization

· Proficiency in SEO tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs)

· Excellent research, analytical, and problem-solving skills

· Strong communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills

· Ability to work independently and as part of a team

· Experience with content management systems (CMS)

· Experience with content performance analysis and reporting
