TLDR

Build a high-growth web platform for a collectibles app, shaping React/TypeScript UI, APIs, and internal tools to accelerate product launches.

The Role

As a Software Engineer, Fullstack on the web team, you’ll drive revenue and company growth by bringing one of the fastest-growing mobile apps to the web. By owning the end‑to‑end web stack and our internal tools and dashboard, you’ll build our web infrastructure and create new opportunities for business growth. You’ll deliver a web version of Rips, our collectibles trading card app, and set the foundation for future web and Android. By setting the standards for this new platform, you’ll push the boundaries of what it means to be one of the fastest growing app in our category.

What You’ll Do

  • Establish our web platform, setting the foundation and standards for how we build future web and Android apps.

  • Utilize existing backend systems and infrastructure to create Rips for web in 3-6 months.

  • Define our team’s best practices and standards for React (potential to work on React Native as well).

  • Own all internal tools and our internal dashboard, making improvements that help the team be efficient and better use data to drive decision-making.

  • Partner with backend engineers to design APIs and data models, contributing to API designs and app performance.

  • Elevate UX with thoughtful motion, micro-interactions, and responsive design that feels native.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of professional web experience, with deep expertise in modern React, TypeScript, and Javascript. Bonus if you have experience building in a similar domain — real-time features, payments, authentication, or consumer gaming apps.

  • Proven track record for quickly shipping 0→1 consumer web products or major greenfield initiatives.

  • Experience building delightful user experiences with motion, animations, and high-quality interaction design.

  • Strong frontend fundamentals, an eye for design, and strong product sense. You can take a Figma design and build polished, pixel-perfect UI.

  • Tenacity, pragmatism, and scrappiness — you value high degrees of agency and know how to prioritize the most impactful work based on data and user feedback.
