Senior Technical Artist
What you will do: The technical artist responsible for destruction system plays a very central role on this important pillar feature. More precisely the candidate will be involved in the
following areas:
- Configure, test, maintain and play important part in the development of the destruction system
- Make sure that destructible system is aligned with high level design requirements for the game
- Elaborate budgets for destructible content, memory-wyse, performance-wyse and platform-wyse (mobile, next gen)
- Assist and support content creators making destructible assets
- Validate created content and make sure they follow guidelines to meet defined budgets
- Play a role in the design features of the system with engine programmer
- Support gameplay/vfx/audio programmers in the usage of destructible assets
- Stay up to date on Unreal Engine best practices regarding content creation and performance
What we are looking for:
- Having shipped at least one title as a technical artist
- 4+ years Unreal Engine experience
- Having shipped an open world game
- Houdini and its destruction tool set experience
- And/or other procedure destruction asset generation pipeline experience
Eligible to work full time in Canada
