Senior User Researcher
TLDR
Lead end-to-end user research across consumer and provider journeys to drive evidence-based product decisions and scalable service improvements in a high-stakes care marketplace.
- Lead end-to-end user research across Consumer and Provider experiences, covering families making care decisions and providers managing services and growth
- Design and execute qualitative and mixed-method studies including interviews, usability testing, surveys, journey mapping, diary studies, and concept validation
- Develop and maintain a research roadmap aligned with product strategy, business priorities, and cross-functional decision-making needs
- Synthesize research findings into clear, actionable insights that directly influence product direction, UX design, and service improvements
- Partner with Product, Design, Engineering, Analytics, Marketing, Sales, and Operations teams to integrate qualitative insights with quantitative data
- Identify user pain points, unmet needs, trust gaps, and systemic experience issues across the end-to-end care journey
- Improve research operations, including templates, participant workflows, insight repositories, and reusable frameworks
- Contribute to defining how AI-enabled research tools are used responsibly to enhance speed, synthesis, and decision support
- 5+ years of experience in User Research, UX Research, Product Research, or mixed-methods research roles
- Strong expertise in qualitative research methods, including interviews, usability testing, synthesis, and storytelling of insights
- Proven ability to influence product strategy and design decisions through research outcomes
- Experience operating in ambiguous environments and prioritizing research based on business and product impact
- Ability to combine qualitative insights with behavioral analytics, experimentation, or product data
- Strong communication and facilitation skills with cross-functional stakeholders at all levels
- Demonstrated experience or curiosity in using AI tools to enhance research workflows, synthesis, or insight generation
- Experience in marketplace, healthcare, consumer decision journeys, or high-trust service environments is a strong plus
- Strong portfolio demonstrating research thinking, methodology, and impact on product decisions
- Competitive base salary ranging from 135,000 USD to 160,000 USD annually
