Site Manager - Manchester
We are looking for a creative Site Manager to oversee our popular studio in Manchester! This is a great opportunity for someone that wants to gain more experience in music studios.
You will be joining Pirate at a very exciting time as we explore adding hospitality to the business so this role suits someone with a passion and experience for serving and providing amazing experiences to customers.
No day, evening or weekend is the same in the music studios so someone who is flexible and agile in their approach to working, creative thinking in their problem solving and has the ability to keep calm under pressure is a must!
You’ll be working on
- Ensure site(s) presentation is always to a very high standard, equipment is operational, and issues are identified and resolved quickly.
- Manage your time across the site(s) you manage to ensure we maximise studio up-time and deliver the best customer experience, in the most cost effective way.
- Manage site(s) budgets.
- Implement standardised global operational practices, and adapt where needed for localisation.
- Work closely with relevant central Pirate teams to ensure your sites have what they need at all times, and issues are resolved in a timely manner.
- Ensure equipment is maintained and functioning, proactively testing equipment to pick up issues before the customers do.
- Carry out troubleshooting and safe repairs of broken equipment on site, working with the equipment technician to identify issues if needed.
Requirements
We’re looking for
Essential
- Background in music, through personal or work life, and a good general knowledge of musical equipment.
- Responsive and communicative.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders.
- Highly organised with excellent time management skills.
- Agile and flexible, able to change priorities quickly if needed and stay cool headed and effective in a reactive situation.
- Commercially and customer focused.
- Good health and safety awareness.
- Ability to follow processes and frameworks, and identify where they can be improved.
- The expertise, knowledge and creativity to recognise and solve problems independently.
- Must own a phone you can use for work (expenses details will be shared).
Desired
- Experience in retail, hospitality or similar customer facing site role.
- Experience in musical equipment repairs.
- Experience of FM CAFM systems.
