TLDR

Accountabilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable AI systems powering conversational interfaces and intelligent agent experiences.
- Build and optimize AI pipelines for real-time and asynchronous data processing and interaction workflows.
- Develop clean, efficient, and well-tested backend code, ensuring high performance and maintainability.
- Integrate AI/ML models into microservices and API-based architectures within distributed systems.
- Optimize model performance, inference workflows, and system scalability for production environments.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including AI researchers, data scientists, and product engineers to deploy AI solutions at scale.
- Stay updated with advancements in conversational AI, LLMs, NLP, and emerging agentic AI technologies.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s/PhD degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Science, or related field, with relevant industry experience (3+ years for Bachelor’s or 1–2+ years for advanced degrees).
- Strong proficiency in Python and backend development with solid software engineering fundamentals.
- Experience with AI/ML frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Hugging Face.
- Hands-on experience fine-tuning LLMs and familiarity with inference frameworks such as vLLM.
- Strong understanding of system design, distributed systems, APIs, and microservice architecture.
- Experience working with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work in fast-paced, collaborative environments.
- Exposure to real-time AI applications (chatbots, copilots, voice assistants) or open-source AI contributions is a plus.
