Software Engineering - Summer Internship - Sweden

Hey, here's your chance to be a full time Spotify employee, starting with a summer internship!

This isn't just any internship! Our paid internship program will last for 12 weeks this summer starting in the middle of June, and you'll get a chance to gain in-depth knowledge of what it's like to be a Spotify employee.

We’re looking for enthusiastic students with a passion for music and an ambition to go far, just like us. You should be at the end of your studies, graduating latest 2020.

For the Summer of 2018 we are looking for interns in these areas below. Please note that we have more than one role within each area within multiple teams.

Backend Development

Collaborate with other engineers, product owners, and designers to solve interesting and challenging problems for delivering various media worldwide. Architect, design, develop, deploy and operate Java services that serve millions of users in a DevOps manner.

Skills: Java, Git, Python

Web/Front End Development

Plan, design and shape responsive web solutions. Bind our front and back end services together and monitor, test and continuously optimize your designs. Build the user interface (UI) and design language across different platforms

Skills: JavaScript, CSS, HTML

Android & iOS Development

Help build an application that millions of people use every day. You will play an important part in our mobile engineering practice, implementing new features, improving performance, and building beautiful user interfaces.

Skills: Java for Android and/or Objective C and C++

Full Stack Developer/Software Engineer

Creating and reshaping existing services using the latest technologies for millions of users. Write clear, maintainable code that will scale across a number of projects and distributed development teams

Skills: Software engineering, C++, Java, Mobile

Security Engineer

Champion security with development teams to make their code more secure, primarily through manual code/architecture review. Design, build, and operate innovative tools to enhance our security. Assist in first response and remediation for security-related incidents and participate in on-call rotation

Skills: Python

Our summer internships will last for 12 weeks this summer and start in the middle of June.
