About the Role:
The Solution Consultant will leverage Sequoia’s innovative People Platform to help drive new client growth and strengthen existing client relationships in the Mid-Size and Enterprise market. They’ll work closely HR, CEOs and Finance leaders at some of the world’s most innovative growth VC-backed companies. They’ll ensure overall client satisfaction by proactively managing and anticipating the needs of clients and prospects.
What You'll Do:
- Prospect, set and conduct initial sales meetings, mostly with existing Sequoia clients
- Network internally and externally to develop business relationships that will drive new client relationships for Sequoia
- Complete needs analysis, demo, and pricing proposals
- Drive and manage the client decision making process
- Maintain ongoing relationships with Sequoia’s platform clients
What You'll Need:
- Bachelor's Degree Required
- 5+ years of successful software sales experience in outside sales, business to business sales, or business development with a professional track record of high achievement in sales
- Ability to communicate and interface effectively with CEOs, CFOs, Executive Staff, Operations, Human Resources and People Leaders
- Highly effective verbal and written communication skills, including presentation, persuasion, tact, negotiation, and closing skills
- Demonstrated ability to build strong working relationships both internally and externally and a commitment to coming through for people
