Solution Architect (Access4You) (REF2754V)

The Access4You Service Hub bundles the identity, authentication and authorization portfolio for Deutsche Telekom globally. To enable access to all necessary IT services, our portfolio also includes IT Shop for our employees at Deutsche Telekom and virtual desktop services for external partners.

Our customers are all corporate segments and international entities, followed by the applications that require identity and access management services in a secure and compliant way.

Core Technologies used in our ecosystem are OneIdentity, MS Active Directory and Azure AD, IBM ISAM/ISVA, syscovery SavvySuite, Intercede & Nexus Group PKI to deliver our products and services around CIAM/CAIMAN, Corporate Active Directory, Telekom SSO, MyIT and VDS.

The hub is structured into SAFe driven value streams (DevOps) and operations focused value streams. High quality Software and System architectural skills are needed to drive this transformation. As a Solution Architect, you are responsible for designing and implementing end-to-end solutions to meet business needs and technical requirements. Their primary focus is on creating scalable, reliable, and secure systems that align with organizational goals.

Responsibilities:

  • Understanding Business Requirements: Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business objectives, challenges, and requirements. Translate business needs into technical solutions that address those requirements effectively.
  • Solution Design: Develop high-level and detailed solution designs, considering factors such as architecture, technology stack, integration points, scalability, performance, security, and cost-effectiveness. Ensure that the solution aligns with best practices and industry standards.
  • Technical Leadership: Provide technical leadership and guidance throughout the project lifecycle. Work closely with development teams, infrastructure teams, and other stakeholders to ensure the successful implementation of the solution.
  • Architecture Governance: Define and enforce architecture principles, standards, and best practices. Ensure that the solution architecture adheres to organizational guidelines and aligns with the overall enterprise architecture.
  • Risk Management: Identify potential risks and issues associated with the solution architecture. Develop mitigation strategies and contingency plans to address risks and ensure project success.
  • Technology Evaluation: Evaluate new and existing technologies, frameworks, and tools to determine their suitability for the solution. Conduct proof-of-concepts and technical evaluations to assess performance, scalability, and compatibility.
  • Integration and Interoperability: Design solutions that integrate seamlessly with existing systems, applications, and infrastructure. Define integration patterns, APIs, and data exchange formats to facilitate interoperability.
  • Performance Optimization: Optimize the performance and efficiency of the solution by identifying bottlenecks, tuning configurations, and implementing performance-enhancing techniques.
  • Security and Compliance: Ensure that the solution architecture incorporates robust security measures and compliance requirements. Define security controls, encryption mechanisms, access controls, and auditing mechanisms to protect data and mitigate security risks.
  • Documentation and Communication: Create comprehensive documentation, including architecture diagrams, design documents, and technical specifications. Communicate the solution architecture and design decisions effectively to stakeholders, project teams, and other relevant parties.
  • Collaboration and Teamwork: Foster collaboration and teamwork across different functional areas and teams involved in the project. Work closely with developers, testers, business analysts, project managers, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment and coordination.
  • Continuous Improvement: Continuously monitor and evaluate the performance of the solution. Gather feedback from stakeholders and end-users to identify areas for improvement and innovation. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the solution's effectiveness and value.

 

  • A bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, engineering, or a related field is required. 
  • Proven experience as a Solution Architect or a similar role, with a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience.
