Solutions Engineer (Python Development)

Cmed Technology occupies an exciting position as a developer of cutting-edge technology for the capture and management of clinical trials data. As adoption of our revolutionary new software, encapsia, gathers pace, we need a Solutions Engineer to extend our team. The role can be remote anywhere in the US, UK, or office based in West Sussex.

THE ROLE:

You’ll have experience in software solutions and technical consultancy responding to client needs and requirements. This role requires excellent time management skills with an ability to stay focused on deliverables whilst also identifying risks and helping to plan mitigation options.

You’ll help manage customer expectations and demonstrate an ability to work independently and adapt to different client needs, tools sets & infrastructures whilst dealing with customer development teams of mixed capabilities.

The Solutions Engineer will also support customers in realizing the value of encapsia by undertaking product demonstrations, implementation and training tasks as required. 

You will work within an operations and project team delivering solutions ranging from building out encapsia studies through integrations with other systems, new bespoke functionality, proof of concepts for new products and creation of tooling to support our internal expert teams.

Principal Responsibilities

Development:

• Design and develop bespoke solutions for integrating encapsia with 3^rd party systems
• Design and develop Insights (mini web-apps, reports) to customer requirements
• Design and develop proof of concepts (POCs) for improved customer experience or meet new customer requirements
• Develop studies and tools to improve study build
• Provide 3^rd line support for customer studies

Consultation:

• Customer point of contact for technical issues with delivered solutions.
• Work alongside PMs to deliver encapsia studies from concept to go-live
• Propose and build bespoke solutions for client studies.

This role could be perfect for you if you have experience of:

• Javascipt and/or Python, SQL database.
• AWS lambda
• Supporting customer facing solutions.
