Sports Legal Intern - Summer 2025 Vacation Scheme

Morgan Sports Law is a boutique law firm devoted to sports arbitration and litigation.

We currently have a number of legal internship opportunities of two weeks in duration available at our central London offices this summer. The first session will run 23 June - 4 July 2025 and the second will run 21 July - 1 August 2025. There may be some flexibility with these dates.

These internships are reserved for candidates who are subsequently available and qualified for either paralegal opportunities in 2025/2026 or training contracts in 2026.

Morgan Sports Law was founded in 2013 as a specialist sports dispute resolution firm. Most of the firm's work is heard before the Court of Arbitration for Sport and other sports disciplinary tribunals around the world. As an Intern, you will assist team members in a range of legal research, drafting and case related administration, whilst also gaining exposure to the working practices of our team of leading sports lawyers. As a small team of only c.30 people, you'll enjoy feeling integral to the team and having real exposure to (often) high profile legal matters.

Requirements

Your qualifications and attributes

You will have:

• An excellent academic background with a degree of class 2.1 or higher, and a minimum of 128 UCAS points (or equivalent).
• A strong and demonstrable passion for sports dispute related legal work.
• Fluency in English (additional languages would be an advantage but are not essential).
• The right to live and work in the UK.
• Strong research and drafting skills
• Solid commercial awareness.
• Enthusiasm and self-motivation.
• Exemplary attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills.
• The ability to act as a team player.
• A strong career focus including the appetite to follow up a successful internship with a potential Paralegal contract within the same academic year.

Internship placements are conducted on a freelance basis. You will be able to claim London Living Wage for up to 37.5 hours per week of your placement (c£103.88 a day).
