Sr. Associate Developer, ServiceNow

TLDR

Develop and configure ServiceNow components, implement integrations, and drive end-to-end ITSM delivery in a global, Agile team.

Accountabilities:
  • Develop and configure ServiceNow components such as Business Rules, Client Scripts, UI Policies, Catalog Items, Notifications, and Flow Designer workflows based on technical specifications and established standards.
  • Support the implementation of integrations using REST and SOAP APIs under senior guidance, ensuring secure and reliable data exchange across systems.
  • Participate in requirement analysis sessions, contributing technical insights and supporting the translation of business needs into platform solutions.
  • Assist in designing and maintaining data structures, including tables, CMDB elements, and service catalogs, aligned with predefined architecture models.
  • Execute unit testing and support integration testing activities, ensuring defect identification, resolution, and documentation of results.
  • Collaborate in Agile ceremonies and cross-functional meetings, contributing to sprint planning, reviews, and continuous delivery improvements.
  • Support documentation, knowledge transfer, and operational readiness activities to ensure smooth handover to support teams.
  • Requirements:

    • 2–4 years of hands-on experience with ServiceNow development, configuration, or platform support in enterprise environments.
    • Strong understanding of ITSM processes and ServiceNow core modules, with ability to apply platform best practices in development activities.
    • Basic to intermediate knowledge of JavaScript, JSON, XML, and relational database concepts.
    • Experience working in Agile or hybrid delivery environments, with ability to follow structured development and review processes.
    • Good analytical and problem-solving skills with a strong willingness to learn and continuously improve technical capabilities.
    • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with ability to work effectively in global, cross-functional teams.
    • Fluency in Portuguese and English is required for daily interaction with international stakeholders.
