Title: Success Operations Associate
Role Description:
The Success Operations Associate (SOA) will join ShipBob’s growing Merchant Success team responsible for understanding the unique strategic needs of each of our merchants and delivering massive value to help facilitate their growth and success. The MSO will work in tandem on a team to support ShipBob’s largest merchants. They will build and manage sound partnerships by working in concert with our MSMs.
What you’ll do:
- Work closely with internal departments and freight companies to deliver best value.
- Coordinate all shipments by communicating with internal customers and transportation companies/brokers to ensure timely receipt of goods of our merchants at ShipBob fulfillment centers.
- Review Bill of Lading and manufacturer packing slips; based on those documents, create Warehouse Receiving Orders for inbound shipments.
- Arrange "Dock Appointments" for inbound and outbound carriers.
- Create and/or manage internal/external transfers so that retailers get the inventory by the must-arrive by dates.
- Supervise and coordinate shipping of outbound orders, ensuring accuracy and timeliness with both product and paperwork.
- Submit error-free shipment notices to the retailers in the prescribed format.
- Build solid relationships with internal customers (Operations) to ensure a positive business impact.
- Escalate urgent issues timely, keeping positive Merchant experience at the center of all such outcomes.
- Additional duties and responsibilities as necessary.
What you'll bring to the table:
- 0-1 years of experience, Freshers can also apply who are willing to work in night shifts.
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills, including the ability to express oneself with confidence.
- Proficient and accurate with word processing (Word), spreadsheets (Excel) and competent in navigating the Internet.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks at the same time, all the while delivering results
- Ability to follow instructions and perform tasks.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively through oral, written, and in-person mediums.
- Excellent interpersonal skills necessary to communicate (verbally and intuitively) effectively with both customers and internal personnel.
