Summer Intern, Customer Retention Marketing

Position Summary:

SiriusXM is looking for an intern to assist with the daily functions within the Customer Retention Marketing department; more specifically, this individual will participate in activities that will influence our long-term subscription pricing strategy for existing subscribers.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Analyze key performance metrics and provide insights to drive performance optimizations. Suggest improvements and alternative approaches based on quantitative results and qualitative feedback.
  • Monitor various A/B and multi-variate tests, in partnership with Data Science and Marketing Analytics, to identify strengths and opportunities, and recommend test iterations.
  • Project manage cross-functional stakeholders and teams (e.g. Marketing Ops, Channel Ops, Legal, Finance, Marketing Analytics and Data Science) to ensure timely execution and fulfillment of all necessary deliverables.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

  • None

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Currently pursuing or recently received a Bachelor's degree or MBA in marketing or a related field.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Internships are open to current students enrolled at a university and recent graduates who graduated within the 12-month period prior to the start of the internship.

Requirements and General Skills:

  • Excellent time management skills, with the ability to prioritize, multi-task, and work under shifting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Analytically-minded with ability to analyze both qualitative and quantitative data and provide key insights and recommendations.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Willingness to take initiative and to follow through on projects.
  • Project management experience preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal capabilities and excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Well-organized, detail-oriented, energetic, independent, and responsive to feedback.
  • Spelling, grammar, proofreading, and editing skills.
  • Must have legal right to work in the U.S.

Technical Skills:

  • Thorough knowledge of MS-Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access).
  • Ability to embrace and learn internal project management tools and systems.
