Summer Intern, Data Science Analyst

• Perform data analysis using Database SQLs.
• Report data qualities using data visualization programs or tools (such as Excel, Tableau, Pythons).
• Research data science and machine learning algorithms to automatically detect data anomalies and unusual database activities.

• Major in Math, Statistics, Computer Science or similar areas preferred.
• You must be 18 years of age or older.
• Internships are open to current students enrolled at a university and recent graduates who graduated within the 12-month period prior to the start of the internship. 

• Good public speaking and presentation skills.
• Interpersonal skills and ability to interact and work with staff at all levels.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Ability to pay attention to details and be organized.
• Ability to project professionalism over the phone and in person.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Commitment to "internal client" and customer service principles.
• Willingness to take initiative and to follow through on projects.
• Spelling, grammar, proofreading and editing skills.
• Must have legal right to work in the U.S.

• Thorough knowledge of MS-Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access).
• Proficient in one programming language such as Python or Java.
• Data science experience with good understanding of statistical and/or machine learning algorithms.
• Any experience with databases is plus.
