Tech Lead

Hi! We’re Syngenta Digital Labs-- a fast-growing contender in the fields of digital innovation, intelligence, and agricultural technology. And we’re looking for a Technical Lead in our Champaign Research Park office. As Tech Lead, you will be a key member of the development team and actively collaborate with key client stakeholders on technical issues, opportunities and successes, as well as help guide the technical direction of the project(s) you’re working on. We don’t want someone who is looking to fill the status quo. We want someone who wants to make waves, and to inspire originality in their projects. Bottom line: what matters is that you are passionate about what you do, and that should show.

Firm Qualifications:

• Works well within team settings
• You must have 6+ years of experience leading a team of developers and projects
• Can ensure that work delivered across teams is of excellent quality and complies with stated requirements
• Ability to develop web applications (React/NodeJS/React Native)
• Understands how and when to use Machine Learning. 
• Loves Agile development and DevOps

Preferred requirements:

• Possesses a strong grasp of development methodologies and is expert or experienced in our core languages and systems - React/Python/AWS/Linux
• Capable of solving complex problems and working on multiple projects/tasks simultaneously to meet project deadlines as required.
• Can communicate effectively across a variety of mediums (email, phone, video)
