Let’s talk about the role and the team:
As Cyara conrinues to scale its products and the software engineering function, we’re looking for a talented and driven Technical Lead - Front-End Chapter Lead to join our team in either Sydney or Melbourne. This role will report into the VP of Engineering and lead our growing front-end practice. You’ll be involved in building the foundation for the next generation of our front-end architecture, on top of which new and legacy projects will be ported to. You will also provide support and mentorship to various teams and drive change through the organization by introducing and encouraging concepts such as clean code and TDD.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
- Working together with the technical leadership team, UX and product to define frontend strategy and the future of our frontend framework
- Hands-on development of the Cyara frontend framework
- Participate in technical discussions with technical leads and developers across multiple teams to provide guidance and mentorship
Let’s talk about your skills and experience:
- 5+ years’ experience in client-side large scale development project or programs
- Proven track record of technical team leadership
- At the top of your game in at least one framework such as Angular, React, or Vue
- Experience working with tools such as Babel, Webpack, Rollup, and Parcel
- Expert level knowledge of JavaScript ES6+, Typescript
- Strong expertise with testing tools such as jest, mocha, jasmine, and browser automation tools such as Cypress.io, PhantomJS, Selenium
- A pro-active, self-learner, independent, and a great team player
- Excellent written and verbal communications, with excellent presentation skills
- A natural problem-solver with strong conflict-resolution capabilities and the ability to juggle and manage multiple projects
