Technical Program Manager - Identity and Access Management

Location Details:

At GoDaddy the future of work looks different for each team. Some teams work in the office full-time, others have a hybrid arrangement (they work remotely some days and in the office some days) and some work entirely remotely.

This is a remote position, so you’ll be working remotely from your home. You may occasionally visit a GoDaddy office to meet with your team for events or offsites.

This position is not eligible to be performed in Alaska, Mississippi, North Dakota, or the Virgin Islands.

The Identity & Access Management (IAM) team is working hard to mature our program. It will be built following a strong roadmap to implement outstanding solutions around Identity Governance, Access Management, including Privilege Access Management atop our core Directory Services platform.

The technical program manager role will be responsible for the project coordination and execution across cross-team efforts and processes for our IAM and Information Security teams to align with GoDaddy cross-organization initiatives.

What you'll get to do...

  • Lead migrations and release project plan efforts across new application and info security systems and or processes/tools
  • Spearhead work tasks and multiple projects simultaneously, including schedules, result tracking, and essential communication across team members and collaborators
  • Learn how to use collaboration tools like Confluence, Slack, GitHub, etc.
  • Work closely with engineering, product, info security, operations, public cloud vendors, and other cross org product teams to define, and drive a strategic roadmap that aligns with business priorities and customer needs
  • Regularly communicate project status to leadership across the business
  • Build and handle project delivery status, and risks/issue solutions
  • Lead/coordinate multiple cross-team projects – work prioritization, planning, task delegation, and meeting/action follow up
  • Willingness to learn about roles and standards and work on problems of limited scope

Your experience should include...

  • 2+ years of experience around Identity & Access Management (IAM)
  • 4+ years in Project or Program Management roles at technology companies or comparable
  • Solid experience in project coordination activities and risk/issue identification and mitigation
  • Familiar with industry-standard Agile methodologies, tools, and techniques
  • Well-organized, self-motivated individual who is motivated to learn and grow
  • Strong problem-solving skills with an emphasis on the analysis and resolution of sophisticated technical issues
  • Comfortable collaborating and influencing team members, working with development teams and other business groups, and presenting solutions to senior leadership on a regular basis.
