As part of Woven Planet, the Woven IT team’s mission is to offer the best-in-class IT infrastructure to enable business growth in Woven Alpha and Woven Core. As a part of Woven Planet, the Woven IT team’s mission is to be an enabler for accelerating the development of safe and secure software for Woven Planet. Woven IT aims to provide the business-in-class infrastructure to the Alpha, Core, and Capital operating companies.
Our Technical Solutions Engineers work on solutions to improve our users' experiences when interacting with our tools. They do this by collaborating with other teams across the organization and acting as the last layer of support for difficult issues, leveraging the technologies at their disposal and good relationships with our partners and suppliers.
WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
We are looking for an innovative and experienced Technical Solutions Engineer to work in our ever-changing environment. A successful candidate would have had prior experience as a Technical Solutions Engineer or Support Engineer with one of the major cloud service providers. The ideal candidate needs to have technical leadership skills and can excel in complex environments.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Acquire in-depth knowledge of cloud products and services used by Woven Planet.
- Design, implement and support automated capabilities for the IT Service Desk team for laptop/desktop kitting.
- Act as level two support for the entire organization for MDM (mobile device management) technologies like InTune and Jamf.
- Identify user issues and unmanaged use cases and advocate for their resolution with other stakeholders.
- Facilitate the service desk operations by producing documentation and implementation of troubleshooting tools and automation. Identify problems in the user experience, including support flows, engineering, and driving solutions for them.
- Act as subject matter expert for internal teams, including engineering and end users.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in the field of Technology, Engineering, Math, or equivalent practical experience in infrastructure or technical support.
- Active Directory (AD) experience using Azure AD, Cloud Identity/Google Directory, and/or Okta.
- Extensive hands-on experience managing Google Workspace.
- Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and customer support skills.
- Experience in acquiring and advocating for business and security needs.
- Proficient in at least one scripting language (e.g. Bash, Python, Ruby).
- Experience in supporting large-scale infrastructure environments.
Preferred Qualifications:
- A minimum of 5 years of experience using public cloud computing technologies (in Azure, AWS, and/or GCP).
- Hands-on experience with a development language (e.g. Java, C, C++, Ruby, Python, Rust, JavaScript)
- Experience with endpoint management solutions such as Google Workspace MDM, Microsoft Intune, MobileIron, and JAMF Pro.
- Familiarity with IAC tools (e.g. Puppet, Terraform, Ansible, Chef).
- Intermediate to advanced system/network administrator level knowledge in Linux and Windows or macOS.
- Advanced knowledge in administering SDLC tools, such as Jira and Github.
