Technology and Innovation - Finance Analytics Engineer

TLDR

Transforms complex financial data into scalable analytics, building end-to-end pipelines and dashboards that enable data-driven decisions across finance teams.

Accountabilities:
  • Extract, transform, and integrate financial and operational data from multiple sources to support analytics and reporting needs.
  • Design, build, and maintain scalable and automated data pipelines for financial reporting and business intelligence.
  • Develop end-to-end analytics solutions, including KPI definition, data modeling, and dashboard creation.
  • Write and optimize complex SQL queries to support finance and business analysis use cases.
  • Use tools such as Alteryx and Python to streamline data transformation and automation workflows.
  • Work with enterprise data platforms such as Microsoft Fabric, Azure, and Snowflake for analytics delivery.
  • Collaborate with finance and business stakeholders to translate requirements into data-driven solutions.
  • Ensure accuracy, consistency, and financial integrity across all analytical outputs.
  • Communicate insights clearly through dashboards, reports, and stakeholder presentations.
  • Requirements:

    • 5+ years of experience in analytics, business intelligence, or data-focused roles.
    • Strong proficiency in SQL and hands-on experience with Python, Alteryx, or similar data tools.
    • Solid understanding of data engineering concepts combined with BI and analytics exposure.
    • Familiarity with financial data structures such as P&L, trial balance, and revenue datasets.
    • Experience working with finance, accounting, or business teams in an analytics capacity.
    • Strong ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights for non-technical audiences.
    • Experience with enterprise data platforms such as Snowflake, Azure, or Microsoft Fabric.
    • Strong communication skills with the ability to present findings and influence stakeholders.
    • Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving ability and attention to detail.
    • Ability to thrive in dynamic, fast-changing environments with multiple priorities.
