The GR Company is looking to recruit an Analyst for our office in Singapore to support our work on a range of public policy issues across the region. The GR Company provides for our clients a full range of government relations and related services, including policy and issue monitoring, stakeholder mapping, in-depth intelligence, political due diligence, strategic outreach, advocacy, public procurement support, and public affairs campaigns.
In this role you will build a firm foundation to a career in government relations and public affairs, as well as have opportunities to advance in the company. The chosen candidate will be required to work in a client-facing capacity, on a variety of accounts spanning different sectors. A high level of English is essential.

KEY QUALIFICATIONS
- Fluent spoken and written English is essential. Fluency in Southeast Asian languages is preferred.
- A demonstrated passion for public policy and politics
- Excellent research skills
- Ability to take a creative and proactive approach to solving complex, policy-related challenges as part of an expert team
- A strong desire to contribute to policy dialogues and to tackle real policy challenges
- Self-starter with a positive, can-do attitude
- Ability to interact with senior client and, with guidance, provide proactive strategic advice and seamless operational support
- Ability to travel regionally as required
- Flexibility, willing and able to multi-task and deliver quality services while adhering to deadlines
- Candidates must currently hold the legal right to work in Singapore. We are unable to provide work visa sponsorship for this role.
RESPONSIBILITY
- Participate in selected aspect of key client accounts, and quickly becoming knowledgeable about client needs and requirements, and supporting the team to ensure client engagement and satisfaction
- Public policy research and analysis, report writing, editing, and strategic development
- Helping project leaders to develop and implement strategic outreach and engagement plans with policy stakeholders
- Working with colleagues on a variety of important policy challenges in service of our clients
- Keep the team updated and briefed of news, information or trends that may impact new or existing clients
- All-round support as part of The GR Company team, including generating ideas and proposals for new business development
EDUCATION
- Good university degree in a related subject (such as public policy, economics, politics, communications or international relations). Having a relevant Master’s degree is advantage.
