About the team and position
The Specialist, Title and Registration (Notary) focuses on the administrative aspects of registering our customers’ vehicles and notarizing their registration documents. The Specialist is responsible for checking documents and completing the administrative processes to ensure the smooth transition of vehicle ownership from Carvana to our customer. Part of this individual’s job will be traveling between customer’s homes to notarize their documents in person. The ideal candidate has exceptional punctuality, organization and communication skills, with amazing attention to detail. This individual should be extremely personable and able to engage in meaningful interactions with our Customers.
What you’ll be doing
- Process, finalize and mail out customer registration.
- Review titles and customer registration packets are completed accurately, in a timely and efficient manner based on business need.
- Review customer paperwork for accuracy in detail.
- Travel to customer’s homes after vehicle delivery to notarize title and registration paperwork.
- Communicate with customers across multiple platforms for document-related purposes.
- Update customer records to ensure the most up to date information is available in our systems.
- Interact and communicate with team members across various lines of the business.
- Input, cross-reference, and retrieve data from multiple internal and external databases.
- Assist Advocates and other employees with customer follow-up.
- Being a high energy, forward-thinking self-starter.
- Other duties as assigned.
What you should have
- This position requires a notary and employment is contingent upon passing the notary exam
- The ability to obtain a Notary in your local jurisdiction within the first 180 days of employment (Process will be sponsored by Carvana.)
- 1-2 years of work experience in an administrative or data entry capacity.
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent education required.
- Bachelor's degree highly preferred
- Must have a valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record for the past 3 years
- Ability to pass a DOT physical, drug screen, and background check
- Ability to manage, organize, and reconcile multiple sources of information with accuracy.
- Ability to follow all of Carvana’s safety requirements in relation to the COVID-19 pandemic.
- Computer literacy and data entry skills.

- Professional written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to adapt to change.
