About the Role:
The Corporate Marketing Events Team is searching for a Trade Show & Events Manager with experience in B2B SaaS/software marketing to help us develop and execute our global trade show plan.
You will partner closely with the rest of the corporate events team, demand generation, brand, product marketing, marketing operations, and developer team to increase our brand awareness and sales pipeline at our largest trade shows throughout the world.
Successful candidates are organized, detail-oriented, great communicators, and are able to think strategically while also executing tactically and quickly.
About the role:
- You will own end-to-end project management and execution of our large-scale trade shows including logistics, staff management, booth production, budget tracking, marketing campaigns and content/presentations
- You will help execute the trade shows in our developer community
- You can design engaging and memorable experiences throughout the trade show (on the show floor, around the exhibition area) that also ties back to our event strategy.
- Work closely with field marketing, the sales team, and other key stakeholders to align on tradeshow and event objectives and report post event on success and leanings.
- Manage trade show budgets and contracts. Responsible for accurately accounting for all trade show expenses and managing payment of vendors. Also responsible for contract management of all vendors and sponsorships.
About you:
- BS/BA degree and 7 - 10 years of experience in planning and managing trade shows.
- Experience onboarding and managing multiple vendors
- Exceptional project management/organizational skills with ability to successfully manage multiple initiatives simultaneously. Attention to detail and accuracy is a must.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to coordinate with
- Familiarity with top security and developer conferences a plus
- Comfortable using Salesforce.com / Tableau reporting
- Self motivated and able to work autonomously. Able to manage competing priorities and adapt quickly to rapidly changing environments. You can marry high-level creativity and out-of-the-box-thinking with a very detail oriented, hands-on project management style.
- Travel 10%-15% of the time.
- Agency experience or B2B technology experience.
Compensation
Compensation may be adjusted depending on work location.
- For Colorado-based hires: Estimated annual salary of $112,000 - $136,000.
- For New York City-based and California (excluding Bay Area) and Washington hires: Estimated annual salary of $133,000 - $163,000.
- For Bay Area-based hires: Estimated annual salary of $140,000- $172,000.
