Trainee/Junior Manual QA (Clio)

QA-focused role in a dynamic iGaming product team, performing manual testing, defect reporting, and test documentation within an Agile environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Test Case Execution: Execute predefined test cases, which include running different scenarios in the application to ensure everything works as expected.
  • Bug Reporting: Identify, document, and report bugs or defects found during testing in a bug tracking system, ensuring developers have clear and detailed descriptions.
  • Test Documentation: Assist in creating/creating and maintaining all relevant test documentation.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with developers, product managers, and other QA team members to understand requirements, clarify functionality, and ensure that the final product meets the quality standards.
  • Regression Testing: Test the software after changes or updates to ensure that new code does not introduce errors or negatively affect existing functionality.
  • Daily Communication: Be proactive and actively participate in daily meetings, estimation & refinement sessions, planning, and other project activities.


Requirements:

  • Commercial experience as manual QA (web projects) 
  • Practical experience with REST API
  • Practical experience with SQL language
  • Practical experience with browser Dev Tools
  • Test techniques, knowledge, and practical implementation
  • Knowledge of SDLC and bug/story life-cycle
  • Understanding of Agile (SCRUM)
  • Upper-intermediate English writing and speaking skills


Desirable:

  • Practical experience with Jenkins or other CI build systems (build, deploy, run tests)
  • Experience with version control systems (GIT)
  • Basic experience with some programming language
  • Basic understanding of HTML/CSS/JS

Interview Stages:

  1. HR Interview (30 minutes) — Initial conversation to discuss your experience, career goals, and cultural fit.
  2. Technical Interview (1.5 hours) — In-depth technical interview covering relevant skills.
  3. Final Interview (1 hour) — A comprehensive discussion with the team, focusing on role-specific competencies and alignment with company values.
