Trust & Identity Engineer (RCIAM)

We are currently looking for a passionate Trust & Identity Engineer to support the family of Identity & Access Management (IAM) services and products that GRNET offers to the Research & Education (R&E) community. Our IAM solutions include privacy-preserving authentication & authorisation infrastructures and their supporting services.
The initial focus for this role is the RCIAM service which enables research communities to securely access and share common resources and services. Leveraging the federated identities available from the global eduGAIN service, as well as identities from social identity providers (e.g. Google, Facebook, etc.), RCIAM enables research communities to securely authenticate and identify their users, organise them in groups, assign them roles and centrally manage access rights for their resources.
In this exciting role, you will be responsible for further development and operation of RCIAM. You will be part of a talented team of engineers that demonstrate superb technical competency, delivering mission critical infrastructure and ensuring the highest levels of availability, performance and security. The team members are professionals, with a mindset to innovate, automate, streamline, and provide value to GRNET and to the users of the offered services.

Requirements
- Engineer Identity & Access Management (IAM) solutions to facilitate single sign-on (SSO), user life-cycle management, and access control processes
- Work directly with clients to develop and refine requirements and feature enhancements of IAM solutions
- Assist in the design and production of technical documentation, including product deployment and configuration documents
- Provide advanced troubleshooting support for clients
The position involves regular travel in Europe, and occasional world-wide travel.
Your profile:
- Knowledge of Identity & Access Management (IAM) processes such as user enrollment & provisioning, authorisation models (e.g. role-based access control) and Single Sign-On (SSO)
- Experience in implementing authentication & authorisation solutions, e.g. leveraging OpenID Connect/OAuth (Google, Facebook, etc) or SAML
- Ability to successfully engage with both technical experts and inexperienced users for identifying authentication & authorisation requirements
- Ability to speak and write fluently in English
Will be considered a plus:
- Experience in configuring and deploying RedHat Keycloak for identity & access management
- Experience in designing and implementing identity & access management solutions leveraging Two-Factor Authentication, Multi-Factor Authentication (e.g. FIDO)
