UI/UX designer

ABOUT THE POSITION

As a UI designer at Fanatee, your work will have direct impact in the experience of millions of players. We are looking for a UI/UX designer with experience and talent across a variety of fields: Interface Design, Graphic Design, 2D illustration, User Experience and who has a good grasp of the mobile game industry.

You will work translating requirements into interaction flows and wireframes and transforming them into intuitive and visually appealing user interfaces, creating feature designs, graphical components, transition animations and effects.

Working together with producers, game designers, developers and business performance, you’ll ensure a great user experience across all our games.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Create intuitive interfaces that support and enhance the game look and experience
• Work with the creative team on concepts, prototypes, and production ready content
• Craft easy to use interfaces to a high art quality that align with the art direction of the existing games
• Participate in the entire design pipeline for new games
• Design layouts using art provided by our artists, translating it to appealing game menus, icons and interface elements
• Guide the production of artists and motion designers with the project’s needs and technical constraints
• Support the team in different phases of development
• Develop UI workflows and best practices
• Work closely with developers and support them with assets exports and feedback, participating in build reviews
• Organize files and assets in a logical and useful manner, contributing to the architecture and project’s design system
• Document the UX and UI design

REQUIREMENTS

• The ideal candidate is a generalist, with experience in interface design, user experience, graphic design, traditional 2D art skills and motion graphics
• Deep experience in developing UI art for products on mobile
• Able to create interfaces from scratch following a specific art style while also creating a good user experience
• Demonstrate knowledge of shape, color and composition with a good general art foundation
• A solid understanding of typography, layout and grid systems
• Self-starter with the ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
• Have strong attention to detail
• Excellent communication and time management skills
• 4+ years of experience as a UX/UI Designer
• Expert-level knowledge of Photoshop, Illustrator, Sketch and other industry standard tools
• Good English skills
• A portfolio demonstrating expertise and the ability to create distinct looks and styles
