About the Team and Role:

The Paid Media and User Acquisition team drives user growth across Crunchyroll brands. We’ve helped introduce the Crunchyroll service to over 10 million paying subscribers and over 120 million registered users internationally. Our mission is to deliver premium video experiences to passionate fans. We strive to meet this mission in all of our performance marketing campaigns and partner closely with creative, content, audience development, product, and analytics teams to do so. We deploy a high 8-figure budget against a wide array of paid marketing channels to drive conversion, brand awareness, and new users.

We are looking for a User Acquisition Manager to support our core streaming business, concentrating on English-speaking markets. This role will be responsible for owning creative optimization across ad platforms and will partner closely with channel owners on performance media strategy and campaign construction. Additionally, this role owns specialty campaign strategy and coordinates across internal and external teams to deliver on our goals in collaboration with the Senior Manager, User Acquisition.

About You:

  • 3-5 years’ relevant experience working in digital marketing ad platforms such as Google Ads, Facebook Ads, and TikTok Ads, while overseeing paid media campaigns and managing budget pacing / optimizations toward performance marketing goals
  • Analytical with the ability to tell a story using campaign results that deliver clear, practical insights to a range of audiences
  • Excel (can perform complex functions)
  • Experience with web analytics (e.g., Google Analytics, Amplitude)
  • Experience working across teams, working with international teams
  • Interest in streaming and subscription-based businesses

A day in the life of our Manager, User Acquisition:

  • Oversee launching and optimizing campaigns across multiple paid marketing channels with a focus on Facebook Ads, Google Ads, TikTok and Snapchat
  • Project management of marketing campaigns, including setting goals, managing project timelines, gathering assets, pulling and analyzing data, and presenting results to the broader team
  • Develop A/B tests to determine best-performing ad formats, creatives, and messaging
  • Maintain relationships with other departments as it pertains to the role, advising on paid media strategy as needed
  • Evaluate ad performance and summarize takeaways to share with the broader team
  • Compile and present weekly and monthly marketing performance reporting

The Pay Range for this position is listed. Actual pay will vary based on factors including, but not limited to location, experience, and performance. The range listed is just one component of Crunchyroll’s Total Rewards offerings for employees.
