User Experience (UX) Researcher
Warby Parker is on the lookout for a seasoned User Experience (UX) Researcher to join our Ecommerce & Consumer Insights team. In this role, you’ll collaborate with product managers, analysts, designers, and other researchers to share insights and create actionable steps that shape the future of Warby Parker’s customer experience on our website and mobile apps. Reporting to the Senior Manager of Consumer Insights, you’ll use your understanding of various research methods to lead and grow UX Research, establishing best-in-class functions across platforms. What you’ll do:
- Work closely with the Ecommerce and Experience Design teams to proactively identify research topics and customer pain points
- Design and conduct studies using appropriate qualitative and quantitative research methodologies
- Influence the Ecommerce roadmap and UX designs through a strong understanding of Warby Parker’s customer experience and through effective communication and partnership
- Evaluate and improve our existing user research practices by introducing new protocols
- Advise cross-functional teams throughout the company on best practices for conducting research on internal systems, pilots, and more
- Collaborate with the Consumer Insights team to ensure we’re taking a holistic approach to customer and market research
- Manage a direct report, using your own experience to provide guidance and training
Who you are:
- A passionate observer of consumer behavior with 4+ years of user research experience in a fast-paced environment
- A thorough, practiced researcher with a solid understanding of quantitative and qualitative research methods
- A supportive and influential business partner who’s able to design analyses for a variety of problems and translate insights into strategic recommendations
- A clear and impactful communicator (both in writing and in person)
- An optimistic and highly organized self-starter with excellent prioritization skills
- A natural collaborator who is excited to work cross-functionally and share knowledge about your subject matter
