The Follain family is seeking out a highly experienced and motivated User Experience Designer to help grow our ecommerce presence and in store experience through leveraging technology. We are a fast paced, agile team and the ideal person for this role will be excited to keep up with us and help deliver fuel for our continued growth.

Responsibilities:

• Manage multiple simultaneous features from concept through execution in an extremely fast-paced environment. The right person will be intrinsically motivated with demonstrated business judgment in the form of prioritization and workload management.
• Work collaboratively and iteratively with Product, Engineering and Stakeholders thru concept, design and development. You will be working directly with engineers and must demonstrate an ability to work through solutions and compromises so we can build features in a timely manner.
• Lead user research and testing to validate design assumptions.
• Articulate and design concept interactions across multiple platforms: web, phone, and tablet.

• Have a thirst for building something from the ground up to see it grow and mature.

Requirements:

• Has great strength in visual design, wireframing, user experience design, and user testing.
• An online portfolio that displays an elevated sense of layout, form, color and information architecture
• Ability to work autonomously with support from the team
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Must have experience with the Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch or similar graphic design tool
• The ability to create prototypes in Axure, Invision or other
• Experience designing mobile apps is a plus
• Additional nice to haves: experience with e-commerce and retail centric design and experience with responsive design.
