Vice President, Client Success (Sales)

(This is a 100% remote position - the full flexibility to work from home!)

The VP of Client Success (Sales) is an exciting opportunity for a leader to drive our impact and growth in an industry at a critical point in transforming future healthcare in Canada.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive business development and client success strategy to deliver on the company’s impact and growth objectives, while leveraging their creativity to build out and foster lasting partnerships. This role is responsible for managing all aspects of the business-to-business commercial business, inclusive of leading a team of client management and sales professionals.


Responsibilities

  • Achieve the established revenue objectives, including business development growth targets (organic, net new, cross-sell)
  • Develop and execute strategic growth plans with new products / services in healthcare
  • Establish and maintain strategic partnership with clients to ensure business growth and satisfaction
  • Establish business with new customers and account management of existing accounts
  • Define and improve sales processes that drive and transcend the desired targeted business development and growth outcomes, including contract negotiations
  • Lead, mentor and motivate a team of sales and client management professionals
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders and leaders to deliver revenue growth and customer satisfaction
  • Strategic leader for positioning and expanding “whole person care” into the Canadian B2B healthcare landscape by fostering creative partnerships
  • Attend in-person and virtual: trade exhibitions, conferences, and meetings (includes some travel required)
  • Other relevant duties as assigned

Candidate Profile

  • Minimum of 10 years’ experience in a sales and client executive leadership position
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Healthcare including specifically in group insurance and benefits industry
  • A Bachelor’s degree required (MBA preferred)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Superior presentation skills and verbal / written communication skills.
  • Proven relationship-building and business development skills
  • Superior leadership skills
