Vice President, Field Sales - North America

About the role:

Transmit is hiring a Vice President, Field Sales-North America to build and drive an exceptional sales team to exceed company financial goals while growing your region to plan.  The Vice President, Field Sales is responsible for championing Transmit Security’s products to their teams to meet and exceed quota goals and ensure the highest quality of customer service. Additionally, this role is responsible for building a high-performance sales culture that delivers results in bookings, sales development and forecast accuracy while mentoring and developing your team to accomplish individual and organizational goals. We are looking for a hands on leader, who loves the sale, being with the customer and winning deals. We are looking for someone who thinks outside of the box, rolls up their sleeves and is a team player. This role will report to the Head of Sales- North America.

What you’ll do:

  • Hire, manage and lead a team of world class field account executives who will hunt new business, exceed revenue targets, build pipeline, and land new customer logos for the US Enterprise business.
  • Develop a business plan with clear actions to exceed revenue targets and build well qualified pipeline
  • Work closely with all cross functional teams to drive overall business results including Solutions Engineering, Professional Services, Customer Success, Product & Sales Ops.
  • Deliver accurate weekly sales forecasts and pipeline management 
  • Develop and ensure field sales teams have well documented territory and account plans aligned with the value proposition and differentiated strengths of the company
  • Make sure field sales team execute on leveraging alliances and relationships with key Partners in the region
  • Travel, as required, to prospects, customers or marketing events and meet hiring goals (40-50% travel).

What you’ll need:

  • 2+years management experience delivering a top performing field sales team
  • 5+years of sales experience in SaaS business, preferably in security, identity and access management is a plus
  • Exceptional leadership skills: building sales teams to meet and exceed quota goals with market disrupting products in a fast paced environment
  • Passionate about hiring and building great teams. High EQ and ability to lead from the front with positive influence
  • Highly driven individual with an execution focus and a strong sense of urgency with an entrepreneurial mindset.
  • Track record of consistently delivering revenue numbers and goals while maintaining a focus on team development and growth.
  • Excellent at influencing others, both externally and internally; ability to communicate effectively and build consensus across various functional groups to achieve goals.
  • You're a leader and you know that to get the best results, you also have to be a great team player, building excellent rapport and collaboration with cross-functional teams.
