About the Role:
We’re looking for a creative and results-driven Video Editor who deeply understands social media platforms and short-form video algorithms. This role is ideal for someone who lives and breathes content creation, knows what performs on platforms like Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts, and can take ideas from concept to published content.
Key Responsibilities:
• Edit engaging short-form video content optimized for social media platforms
• Edit videos using modern editing and AI-based content tools
• Stay up to date with social media trends, algorithms, and best practices
• Collaborate on content ideas, hooks, and creative direction
• Analyze performance and adapt content strategies to maximize reach and engagement
Qualifications:
• 1–3 years of hands-on experience editing short-form and social media content
• Proven experience publishing content on platforms like Instagram, TikTok, or YouTube
• Strong understanding of social media algorithms and content performance
• Basic videography skills using an iPhone
• Proficiency with video editing and AI-assisted content tools
• Reliable, creative, and able to work independently
• Must be willing to make custom content during the interview process to show proof of work
• Have a professional Portfolio to show
