They're now looking for a highly skilled and creative Video Editor with a strong focus on short-form social media content to join their media team.
Job Description:
- Edit short-form videos optimised for TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and LinkedIn.
- Collaborate with content creators, brand strategists, and other media team members to execute cohesive creative visions.
- Participate in creative ideation and provide recommendations to improve content structure and visual impact.
- Manage video projects from initial brief through to final delivery, ensuring brand consistency and timely execution.
- Stay current on social media platform trends, content performance metrics, and emerging video formats.
- Ensure all content adheres to brand tone, guidelines, and production quality standards.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of professional video editing experience, with a strong focus on short-form social media content.
- Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro (After Effects is a plus).
- A strong portfolio or showreel showcasing creative storytelling, fast-paced edits, and platform-specific formatting.
- Demonstrated knowledge of current digital trends, social media algorithms, and content performance tactics.
- Excellent time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects and meet tight deadlines .
- Strong communication and collaboration skills in a remote working environment.
Desirable Attributes:
- Experience working in a content-driven or digital agency environment.
- Familiarity with content themes related to entrepreneurship, branding, or digital marketing.
- Ability to contribute to creative discussions and proactively bring fresh ideas to the table.
