Job Description
Tive is actively hiring a Vice President of Revenue Operations & Enablement. The RevOps team at Tive will be responsible for several mission critical tasks related to sales processes,
operations, enablement, territory planning, and compensation strategy at Tive. The VP of RevOps & Enablement will collaborate across the sales, customer success, service & support, marketing, and finance teams to determine strategy, implement performance metrics, design and deliver enablement and training programs and influence alignment of all revenue operations. This critical role will drive revenue effectiveness by establishing measurable processes to improve sales & customer success efficiency, while also uncovering new opportunities for growth. This role will report directly into the Chief Revenue Officer and is expected to have a quintessential impact on the overall go-to-market strategy for the company.
What do the key responsibilities of the role look like?
- Partner closely with global sales & customer success leadership, as well as executive leadership, to surpass Tive’s growth and retention objectives.
- Drive and lead all aspects of sales and customer success operations including, but not limited to: GTM strategy, process optimization, technology stack, territory planning, compensation plans, lead-to-deal processes, and sales & customer success enablement.
- Establish an operating cadence across the global sales team to ensure the health of the business in achieving key performance metrics including forecast accuracy, funnel analysis, and pipeline management.
- In partnership with the CRO, build a predictable pipeline to closed won forecast model based on adherence to sales process and known stage by stage behavior. This will be a combination of maturing the sales process and upgrading the sales tech stack.
- Design and implement global training programs for the go to market teams by creating our first true sales enablement team. The enablement team’s responsibility will be to properly onboard new hires consistently and offer continuous training and education to our existing team.
- Bring quality control and process consistency in the sales organization’s ongoing quarterly and annual planning efforts.
- Define and build KPI and performance dashboards to ensure processes and best practices are being adhered to.
What skills and qualifications do we want in the role?
- 5+ years of senior operations and enablement leadership experience in global B2B SaaS businesses in the midst of significant growth cycles (some hardware experience preferred, but not required).
- Ability to lead through influence while working alongside organizational leadership (sales, marketing, business operations, product, and executive team).
- Used to farming data to drive fact-based decisions on the top areas of focus for the sales and customer success teams.
- Exceptional people leader and team builder. Demonstrable track record of hiring top specialists to fulfill the responsibilities of the Revenue Operations & Enablement team.
- Deep understanding of standard business practices related to Revenue Operations processes and systems (sales process, Salesforce structure, marketing & sales applications, lead SLA’s, reporting, forecasting, territory management, compensation planning, sales quotas, and ramp/sales productivity modeling).
- Advanced Salesforce skill set.
- Ability to operate autonomously in an environment that changes rapidly.
- Ability to build productive and positive relationships across the organization at all levels
- Excellent communication skills with peers, team members, and executives alike.
