We are seeking an experienced and driven Vice President (VP) of Sales - Healthcare to join the leadership team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies that drive growth within the healthcare sector, focusing on healthcare providers, payers, and related organizations. You will leverage your deep understanding of healthcare market dynamics and strategic sales expertise to build strong client relationships and expand the company's footprint in this critical vertical.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies tailored to the healthcare industry to achieve revenue and growth targets.
- Identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities within healthcare providers, payers, and related organizations.
- Lead complex sales cycles from prospecting through contract negotiation and closing.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing, operations, and delivery, to ensure client needs are met and exceeded.
- Build and nurture long-term relationships with key healthcare stakeholders and decision-makers.
- Stay abreast of healthcare regulatory changes, market trends, and competitive landscape to inform sales strategies.
- Represent the company at healthcare industry events, conferences, and forums to enhance brand visibility.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing sales team focused on the healthcare vertical.
Requirements
- Minimum of 7-10 years of progressive sales leadership experience in the healthcare industry, preferably within healthcare BPO, technology, or services sectors.
- Proven track record of successfully selling complex healthcare outsourcing or technology solutions with significant revenue impact.
- Deep knowledge of healthcare market dynamics, regulations, and compliance requirements.
- Strong strategic thinking, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Exceptional communication and presentation abilities with executive presence.
- Experience managing and motivating sales teams to meet or exceed targets.
- Ability to work collaboratively across functions and with clients in a consultative sales environment.
- Willingness to travel as needed to support sales initiatives and client engagements.
