Overview

Join our team as a Firmware Team Representative in the APAC region, focusing on facilitating communication and technical collaboration between cross-functional teams and vendors, notably Qualcomm. Your role is crucial in driving hardware issue triage and resolution, ensuring seamless integration and optimal performance of WiFi and Bluetooth technologies within wearable devices.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary liaison between cross-functional teams including RF, Antenna, Validation, BSP, and connectivity software to resolve bring up and production hardware issues.
  • Manage and resolve technical issues with external chip vendors, such as Qualcomm, to ensure device performance and feature reliability.
  • Perform NVM and BDF modifications and firmware integration within the Qualcomm WiFi/BT chipset ecosystem.
  • Conduct detailed log analysis using tools like Logcat, dmesg, and QXDM to identify and troubleshoot issues effectively.
  • Support operations in CM factories or labs, ensuring adherence to project specifications and timelines.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Expertise with Qualcomm WiFi/BT chipset technologies and related ecosystems.
  • Proficiency in NVM, BDF modifications, and firmware integration specific to Qualcomm platforms.
  • Experience in log analysis using tools such as Logcat, dmesg, and QXDM.
  • Strong communication skills to interact effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to offer technical support in factory environments or labs as required.
  • Experience with tooling and scripting for factory, on-device, or PC tools, using languages such as Python and C/C++.
  • Familiarity with RF bring-up, factory processes, or SAR/certification processes.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of Qualcomm antenna tuner operations and exposure to SAR/smart transmit/coexistence features.
