About the Role 
As a Workday Application Analyst specializing in Benefits configuration, you will play a pivotal role in tailoring and fine-tuning our internal Workday instance to meet our specific needs. Your expertise in benefits configuration will be instrumental in ensuring that our Workday system aligns seamlessly with our business processes. Collaborating closely with stakeholders from various departments, you will have the opportunity to make a significant impact by delivering effective and efficient Workday solutions. Embracing change management, documentation, and supporting our amazing HR/Finance/Recruiting and Analytics teams will be paramount to success. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong technical skills, project management skills, and a proven ability to drive change cross-functionally.

What You'll Do

  • Lead benefit configuration projects within our Workday instance, including plan setup, eligibility rules, coverage levels, enrollment periods, and integrations with external benefits systems.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to analyze business requirements, translate them into Workday configuration solutions, and provide recommendations on best practices.
  • Conduct thorough configuration testing, including unit testing, system integration testing, and end-to-end testing, to ensure the accuracy and functionality of our Workday instance.
  • Support our internal teams during user acceptance testing (UAT) and provide assistance in issue resolution and troubleshooting.
  • Assist in data migration activities, including data extraction, transformation, and loading into our Workday instance.
  • Stay up-to-date with Workday's latest features, functionality, and industry trends to continuously enhance your expertise and provide innovative solutions within our Workday environment.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as HR, finance, and IT, to gather requirements and ensure successful system integration and data flow across various modules within our Workday instance.
  • Provide end-user training and support, creating documentation and user guides as needed for our internal users.
  • Maintain a strong focus on data security, compliance, and data governance practices within our Workday environment.
  • Configure Workday HCM modules to align with our organizational structures, job profiles, compensation plans, and talent management processes
  • Build and maintain reports to support the business.
  • Efficiently resolve support tickets related to Workday application issues, ensuring prompt and effective resolution for end users.

Your Background

  • 4+ years in configuring Workday Benefits for Global companies
  • Experience configuring benefits for US, EMEA  regions required 
  • Experience configuring benefits for India and APAC regions preferred
  • Experience maintaining and troubleshooting benefit integrations preferred
  • Benefit Integration development experience desired but not required.
  • In-depth knowledge of Workday's benefit including plan setup, eligibility rules, compensation, organizational structures, and talent management.
  • Strong understanding of how Benefits feed into payroll and how to configure for Workday payroll and external payroll systems
  • Core HCM configuration knowledge and the ability to build out reports, business processes etc preferred.
  • Solid understanding of HR business processes and how to configure them.
  • Experience with Workday report writing and creating calculated fields  is a plus.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing requirements within our internal Workday instance.
  • Workday certification in benefits and/or HCM is highly desirable.
  • Ability to work well with others in a collaborative, cross-team environment
  • Willing to work a schedule that allows at least 4 hours of overlap with a 9-5 PST work schedule
