Yoga Instructor (Contractor)

TLDR

Deliver engaging Slow Flow and Power Flow yoga classes in corporate wellness settings, creating a welcoming, inclusive environment for participants of all levels.

What You’re Responsible For:
  • Group Programming: Lead engaging, high-quality yoga classes ranging from slow flow to power flow for a diverse corporate membership population. Deliver safe, well-structured classes that accommodate varying fitness levels, abilities, and yoga experience while fostering participation, wellness, and community.
  • Five-Star Hospitality Service: Create an exceptional participant experience by preparing the class space in advance, ensuring equipment is set up, and maintaining a welcoming, professional environment before, during, and after each class. Anticipate participant needs and focus on the details that elevate the overall experience.
  • Tenant Satisfaction & Engagement: Build positive relationships with participants and actively engage with members to create a welcoming and inclusive atmosphere. Help drive class attendance, satisfaction, and ongoing participation through approachable instruction and community-building.
  • Independent Instruction: Comfortably teach in a corporate setting with varying spaces, equipment, and class setups. Work independently with limited on-site supervision while maintaining a high standard of instruction, professionalism, and reliability.
  • Baseline Requirements:
  • You have 1+ years of experience in a fitness center environment teaching group Yoga classes.
  • Even better if your experience has touched the corporate fitness or wellness sector and/or have additional group fitness experience (e.g. strength, HIIT, pilates, Barre, sculpt, etc)
  • You must have a valid 200-hour RYT Yoga certification from a nationally recognized organization.
  • You have an up-to-date CPR and AED certification.
  • You maintain active personal liability insurance or are willing to obtain coverage prior to providing services.
  • You are technologically savvy and can assist members with class sign-ups through our native technology.

  • Hyper-organized ball juggler: You stay extremely organized and are constantly reprioritizing your own work because it’s what makes you most effective.  Everyone refers to you as a stellar multi-tasker.
  • Stellar Communication: You are known for clearly communicating your points - whether in email or verbally.  In this role you’ll be communicating a lot about bookings (both coordinating them and confirming), sending vendor communications, and engaging with different levels of tenants (office managers to C-Suite).
