Account-Based Marketing Manager

TLDR

Own vertical strategy end to end, from target account selection and industry messaging to multi-channel cadences and pipeline acceleration.

Account-Based Marketing Manager | Based in Barcelona

If you are a B2B marketer who wants to own a go-to-market strategy rather than execute someone else's, this is worth reading.

Kantox is a BNP Paribas-backed fintech building a full-funnel, account-based marketing engine, and we are looking for one person to own the vertical strategy end to end: the account list, the messaging, the channel cadences, and the results.

We build Currency Management Automation software that helps companies turn FX from an operational burden into a competitive advantage. Our clients are CFOs and Treasurers at mid-to-large corporates across 75 countries, and they trust us to move serious money. Over $20 billion and counting.

What you will work on

  • Defining and maintaining the target account list for your industries in close alignment with Sales, segmenting accounts by tier, funnel stage, and buying signals to prioritise outreach
  • Developing a deep understanding of each industry's business drivers, buying triggers, competitive landscape, and regulatory context, and using it to inform every downstream decision
  • Crafting the industry-specific narrative and value proposition that underpins all outreach, working with Product, Marketing Operations, and the Content team to produce emails, LinkedIn copy, event messaging, webinar themes, and sales collateral tailored to your verticals
  • Designing and orchestrating coordinated multi-channel cadences across LinkedIn, email, field events, and webinars, defining the sequencing logic: which channel fires first, at what interval, triggered by what account behaviour
  • Running a regular cadence with Sales and BDRs covering account prioritisation, engagement signals, and content feedback, and collaborating on account-level plays for late-stage acceleration
  • Tracking account engagement metrics across all channels: reach, engagement, intent signals, pipeline influenced, and velocity, and reporting on programme performance continuously

The setup

You will be based in our Barcelona office, reporting to the interim Marketing Director. You will have two key resources to lean on: a marketing intern for execution tasks you choose to delegate, keeping your time focused on strategy, and a product content specialist who will help craft the technical content that underpins your campaigns. You will also partner closely with our Marketing Operations Manager to build out the engine itself. This is a senior individual contributor role sitting at the intersection of Marketing and Sales, with direct accountability for pipeline outcomes.

Who you are

You have run account-based marketing in a B2B SaaS environment and you know what it takes to take a programme from account selection through to pipeline acceleration. You write well, think in systems, and you are comfortable using AI tools to move faster without sacrificing quality.

You do not need to arrive as a fintech expert. You do need genuine curiosity about the space and the discipline to build expertise fast.

Concretely:

  • 3 to 5 years of experience running account-based marketing in B2B SaaS
  • Proven ability to own a strategy end to end: account selection, messaging, cadence design, and reporting
  • Strong cross-functional collaboration skills across Sales, Product, and Marketing
  • Sharp written communication, able to translate industry-specific business drivers into messaging that resonates with named accounts
  • Comfortable using AI tools to accelerate content and campaign production
  • Fluent in English; German is a bonus
  • Familiarity with fintech, treasury, or corporate finance audiences is a plus
  • Based in Barcelona, or willing to relocate (we provide support)
