Account Manager, Group Experience

PRIMARY OBJECTIVE

The primary purpose of this position is to deliver group ticket sales revenue by prospecting and managing opportunities throughout the National Capital Region market segment for both Ottawa Senators game tickets as well as Canadian Tire Centre events.

The Account Manager is responsible sell to both new and existing accounts in order to meet and exceed established ticket revenue sales goals.


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Focus on selling Group Packages for the Ottawa Senators and various Canadian Tire Centre events:

  • Achieve sales activity and revenue targets
  • Develop packaging and programs
  • Utilize existing contact lists to further sales
  • Develop relationships with existing and new customers to enable future bookings through sales calls
  • Must be able to take initiative in developing strategies to uncover new opportunities and generate sales.
  • Use creative selling abilities to close business
  • Develop individual sales revenue, budgets and provide forecasting report for management
  • Host “arena tours” as required for potential clients
  • Responsible for preparing correspondence to clients, internal booking reports and account maintenance.
  • Play a key role in increasing the organization exposure through involvement in community and civic organizations.
  • Build client relationships via external networking and participation in professional industry events
  • Cross-functionally trained to also sell season tickets, suites and corporate advertising

The Ottawa Senators are a NHL team located in Ottawa, Ontario who delivers leading sports, entertainment and other special event programming to fans and patrons in the great Capital region.
