Accountant (Accounts Payable)
TLDR
Process supplier invoices, reconcile vendor accounts, control liabilities, and maintain accounting records, accruals, assets, and inventory.
What You'll Do:
- Process supplier invoices and other accounting documents related to the receipt of goods and services in the accounting system, ensuring accurate allocation by accounting dimensions.
- Prepare and reconcile accounts with vendors, including reconciliation statements.
- Monitor and control accounts payable balances, ensuring timely settlement of liabilities.
- Maintain document flow and ensure that primary accounting documentation is properly prepared and complies with applicable legal and regulatory requirements.
- Prepare and collect supporting documentation for tax authorities, external auditors, and banks upon request.
- Calculate and record expense accruals and provisions in accordance with accounting policies.
- Provide backup support for other accounting functions during colleagues' annual leave or temporary absence.
- Assets and Inventory book-keeping
What We Are Looking For:
- 2 years of relevant experience in accounting, preferably in Accounts Payable.
- Solid knowledge of accounting principles and accounts payable processes.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
- Experience with Odoo ERP is considered an advantage.
- Strong command of Microsoft Office and Outlook.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including working with formulas, pivot tables, and large datasets.
