About the Team:
The Accounting team at Relativity is responsible for the financial integrity of the entire organization. Our functions include general ledger, accounts payable, payroll, financial reporting, audit, tax and compliance, accounts receivable, credit, cost accounting, and business data strategy. By collecting and maintaining the business’s financial activities in accordance with US GAAP, we are able to provide accurate and timely financial reports for strategic planning and decision-making purposes to management, investors, and other stakeholders. This empowers the company to make smart business decisions as we pave the way to a multiplanetary future.
About the Role:
- Review, process, and set up vendors by validating onboarding requests, W-9s, banking details, credit application, and maintaining Business Partner records
- Prepare and complete month end reconciliations, identifying and resolving discrepancies as needed
- Execute payment and billing tasks, such as reviewing and approving invoices, pulling Accounts Payable reports, and assisting with Accounts Receivable and invoicing as needed
- Handle day-to-day vendor communications, including onboarding support, tax exemption questions, documentation follow-ups, terms discussions, and bank details confirmation
- Maintain vendor systems and accounts, including Amazon account administration, order approvals, and ongoing vendor data maintenance
- Maintain operational processes and documentation, including updating SOPs, supporting onboarding training, and ensuring vendor procedures are followed correctly
About You:
- Experience in vendor onboarding, accounts payable, or finance operations preferred
- Strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy
- Prior experience with implementing or supporting process improvement
- Ability to operate in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to manage multiple priorities
Nice to haves but not required:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or another related field preferred
- Experience using Infor LN ERP (previously BAAN) is preferred
- Familiarity with ERP systems, 1099 reporting process, and JIRA workflows is a plus
