Accounting Team Lead

The team waiting for you:

The Accounting team is the financial backbone of our organization, ensuring the accuracy, compliance, and smooth processing of our global operations. As an Accounting Team Lead, you will lead and support the team through key accounting processes, including month-end closing, audits, and financial statements. You will help create a smooth way of working, encourage high standards, and make sure the team feels supported in delivering its best work. With a mix of hands-on accounting expertise and people leadership, you will play an important role in helping both the team and the business grow.

In this role, you will:

  • Lead, coach, and support team members with daily, monthly, and quarterly tasks and challenges;
  • Improve accounting workflows and drive continuous process improvements;
  • Ensure monthly and annual financial results accurately reflect business operations and activities;
  • Prepare financial statements, support the team throughout the process, and liaise with external auditors;
  • Perform other position-related tasks assigned by the direct manager.

    • Your skills & experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, or another relevant field;
  • Experience in a Senior or Chief Accountant role, with experience in leading a team and delegating tasks;
  • Experience in preparing financial statements under Lithuanian GAAP (VAS) and IFRS;
  • Strong ability to prioritize, adapt when needed, and consistently meet deadlines;
  • Excellent multitasking and organizational skills;
  • Good understanding of English, both written and spoken;
  • Fluency in Lithuanian, both written and spoken.

    • Nice to have:

  • Experience working with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central.
  • Previous experience in a technology-driven or tech-related environment.

    • Salary:

  • Gross salary: 3700 - 5500 EUR/month. Keep in mind that we are open to discuss a different salary based on your skills and competencies.
